Royal Enclosure Dress Code
The Royal Enclosure has the strictest dress code, upholding centuries of tradition. Guests are expected to dress in a manner befitting a formal occasion.
- Ladies: Dresses or skirts must be of a modest length, falling just above the knee or longer. Straps must be one inch or greater. Trouser suits and jumpsuits are permitted, but they must be full-length and of matching material. Hats are compulsory, with a base of 4 inches (10cm) or more in diameter.
- Gentlemen: Must wear either black or grey morning dress, which includes a waistcoat and tie, a black or grey top hat, and black shoes.
Queen Anne Enclosure Dress Code
While less formal than the Royal Enclosure, a smart approach is still required.
- Ladies: Formal daywear is encouraged. A hat, headpiece, or fascinator is a must. Strapless or sheer strap dresses are not permitted.

Windsor Enclosure Dress Code

- Ladies & Gentlemen: While there is no formal dress code, guests are encouraged to dress in smart daywear. Sporting team colours are not permitted.
